Single-module systems are ideal for spraying flux on small components such as BGAs.

Custom-Engineered with the Industrys Leading Technology
The MCS"Infinity" System combines Sono-Teks industry-proven spray modules into custom-engineered solutions for the precise and trouble-free application of flux. Using Sono-Teks patented ultrasonic spray technology, the MCS"Infinity System delivers a soft, uniform, and highly controllable spray pattern over virtually any width.
The MCS"Infinity System offers significant advantages over conventional pressure-spray methods in a broad range of fluxing applications. Waste is greatly reduced, since the system does not produce overspray, and maintenance is kept to a minimum because nozzles will not clog. In addition, the titanium and 316 stainless steel construction of the MCS"Infinity System makes it compatible with any liquid flux.
MCS"Infinity Spray Fluxers are ideal for:
" BGA fluxing
" PCB fabrication
" Topside fluxing
Manufactured by the industrys leader in ultrasonic spray equipment, each MCS"Infinity System features:
" Uniform
flux application
" High transfer efficiency
" Low velocity spray reduces cleanup
" Minimum overspray
" Wide range of flow rates
" Non-clogging ultrasonic nozzles
" Reliable performance
" No moving parts

Multiple modules can be integrated into a single unit to spray flux on larger areas. |

The MCS"Infinity Standalone System at left is used by a large semiconductor manufacturer to apply liquid flux to BGAs. Pallets, which are transported on a conveyor, are identified by a laser reader. Based on the type of BGA, spray head #1 or spray head #2 is activated to dispense a precise amount of no-clean or water-soluble flux. The two MCS Control Units (shown through the open doors under the spray chamber) provide power and liquid to the ultrasonic spray heads. All operating parameters are fully programmable through the keypad on the user-friendly PLC interface. |
